Dysport is a newer wrinkle relaxer in the same family of injectables as Botox. Dysport is composed of smaller molecules than Botox and thus has a larger spread to cover a larger area. Preparation
Once you have decided to proceed with a Dysport procedure, there are a few steps you should take to ensure a successful treatment.

- Avoid taking aspirin and non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) for two weeks prior to treatment.
- Avoid alcohol for one week prior to treatment.

Dysport Procedure
The procedure is simple and straightforward. Your practitioner will first clean and sanitize the area to be treated. After numbing the area, the Dysport is injected into the desired area using a very fine needle. The injection points are spaced out evenly in order to provide a subtle, natural-looking effect. The entire procedure usually takes less than 30 minutes and you can get back to your daily activities right away.
